<p>文藻外語大學大學社會責任實踐計畫OUR TOWN社區永續跨域共創平台計畫於2024年11月23日舉辦一場「雙語數位學伴舊城相見歡活動」，此次活動與同校的「SDGs看見需要．千手扶學計畫」共同合作。活動旨在引導小學生們（安平國小、賢北國小及五權國小）深入了解左營舊城的歷史與文化。這場半天的活動包括文史走讀、舊城闖關挑戰以及團隊成果發表，透過多元方式讓學生們深入體驗鳳山舊城的文化底蘊，感受左營地區的歷史魅力。</p>

<p>On November 23, 2024, Wenzao Ursuline University of Languages' University Social Responsibility Practice Program, &ldquo;OUR TOWN Community Sustainable Cross-Domain Collaborative Platform Project&rdquo;, held the &ldquo;Bilingual Buddy Gathering&rdquo; event. This event was in collaboration with another USR program.</p>
<p>The event aimed to guide elementary school students (from Anping Elementary School, Xianbei Elementary School, and Wuquan Elementary School) to explore the history and culture of Zuoying Old City. This half-day activity included a cultural and historical walking tour, an old city challenge, and a team presentation session. Through various activities, students were immersed in the rich cultural heritage of Fengshan Old City and experienced the historical charm of the Zuoying area.</p>

<p>活動當天，由高雄舊城文化協會的陳振榮經理和外語導覽社群的龔書永老師擔任講師，帶領大家走讀。他們生動解說左營地區的龜山風水傳說、城門與城牆、龍虎塔與城邑慈濟宮等特色歷史建築的建立史與文化背景，中間伴隨著隨隊邊用一些英文單字和句子來加強學生們的實地雙語應用。使得小學生們在故事講述中吸收知識，並學習一些與該地方有關的英文句子與單字來加深印象。聽完走讀後，學生們被分為三組，展開闖關挑戰。在大學生關主的帶領下，學生們陸續用今天所學到的知識與英文，在協力合作下通過關卡，增添了活動的趣味性。最後的成果發表，則讓小學生們加深今天所學的印象，並展現出來。</p>

<p>On the event day, Mr. Chen Zhenrong, Manager of the Kaohsiung Old City Cultural Association, and Mr. Gong Shuyong, a teacher from the Foreign Language Guided Tours Community, served as lecturers, leading participants on the walking tour. They vividly explained the legends of Guishan Feng Shui, the gates and walls of the old city, and the historical and cultural significance of landmarks such as the Dragon and Tiger Pagodas and the Chengyi Ciji Temple. Along the way, some English words and phrases were integrated into the explanations to enhance students' bilingual practical application skills. The elementary school students absorbed knowledge through storytelling and learned English vocabulary and phrases related to the sites, reinforcing their impressions.</p>

<p>After the walking tour, the students were divided into three groups to participate in a challenge activity. Guided by university students serving as station masters, the children applied the knowledge and English they had learned throughout the day to collaboratively complete the challenges, adding a layer of fun to the event. During the final presentation session, students reinforced what they had learned and showcased their achievements.</p>

<p>本次活動在盧美妃老師、林一成老師及Luis老師的指導下圓滿落幕，不僅讓小學生們對左營舊城的歷史與文化有了更深刻的認識，也激發了他們學習英語的興趣與動力。透過寓教於樂的方式，讓孩子們在實地體驗中學習與成長。</p>
<p>OUR TOWN計畫團隊將透過更多類似的活動，持續串聯學校與社區資源，讓文化傳承與教育創新相結合，達到深耕地方文化並培養學生成為多語文、跨文化人才的目標。此次雙語學伴相見歡，不僅是一次文化與語言的交流，更是一次以行動實踐社會責任的成功示範。</p>

<p>The event concluded successfully under the guidance of Ms. Lu Meifei, Mr. Lin Yicheng, and Mr. Luis. It not only provided elementary school students with a deeper understanding of the history and culture of Zuoying Old City but also sparked their interest and motivation in learning English. By combining education with entertainment, the event allowed children to learn and grow through hands-on experiences.</p>

<p>The OUR TOWN project team plans to continue organizing similar events to connect school and community resources, integrating cultural heritage with educational innovation. The goal is to cultivate students as multilingual and cross-cultural talents while deepening local cultural roots. This bilingual buddy gathering was a cultural and linguistic exchange and a successful demonstration of social responsibility in action.</p>

<p>文藻外語大學大學社會責任實踐計畫推出的微學分課程&mdash;&mdash;活動企劃「海要再眷」，「海」代表左營軍區故事館的海軍文化；「眷」則代表眷村文化，活動目的在於將眷村文化融入現代生活，讓年輕一代更加了解、尊重和珍惜這段歷史。活動內容涵蓋海軍、人文、文史及地理方面的介紹，不僅推廣海軍文化，也強調全民國防意識的重要性。</p>

<p>The micro-credit course "Sea You Again," launched by Wenzao Ursuline University of Languages as part of its university social responsibility initiative, integrates the naval culture of Zuoying Naval Base and the culture of military dependents' villages. The purpose of the event is to incorporate the culture of military dependents' villages into modern life, allowing the younger generation to better understand, respect, and cherish this historical period. The content of the event covers introductions to naval, cultural, historical, and geographical aspects, not only promoting naval culture but also emphasizing the importance of national defense awareness for all citizens.</p>

<p>活動包括兩個主要遊戲。第一個遊戲「古風捉影」，參加者需要按照任務指示，與小組組員合作，找出文物及展品的歷史意義及背景。這種互動式的遊戲方式讓參加者在親身經歷中加深對知識點的印象，增加學習的趣味性。第二個遊戲「暈船」，則以摩斯密碼為主題，挑戰參加者猜出摩斯密碼，探索其中的奧秘與趣味。這些遊戲結合了傳統與現代元素，為眷村文化注入了新的活力與魅力，讓更多人對眷村文化和摩斯密碼產生興趣。</p>

<p>The event comprises two main games. The first game, "Military Village History Snap" requires participants to cooperate with their group members according to mission instructions to identify the historical significance and background of artifacts and exhibits. This interactive gaming approach allows participants to deepen their impression of the knowledge points through firsthand experience, enhancing the fun of learning. The second game, "Ship Dizziness," revolves around Morse code, challenging participants to decipher Morse code and explore its mysteries and intricacies. These games blend traditional and modern elements, injecting new vitality and charm into the culture of military dependents' villages, sparking interest in military dependent village culture and Morse code among a wider audience.</p>

<p>活動的最後環節，大家一起前往軍區故事館旁的「四海一家」享用美味的眷村菜。策劃活動的學生們特別安排參與的師生前往「四海一家」，目的是讓大家藉由食物更了解當地的文化和眷村的日常生活。儘管餐廳的菜餚隨著時間的推移，已調整成現代台灣人的口味，但那種大家一桌共食的氛圍依然能讓我們體會到眷村的情懷。</p>

<p>The final segment of the event culminates in a visit to "Four Season Family" a restaurant adjacent to the military base's story museum, where everyone indulges in delicious village-style cuisine. Organized by the students, this special arrangement allows participants, including teachers and students, to immerse themselves in the local culture and the daily life of the military dependents' village through food. Although the dishes served in the restaurant have evolved over time to suit modern Taiwanese tastes, the communal dining atmosphere still evokes the essence of village life, fostering a sense of camaraderie among us.</p>

<p>經由此次活動，文藻外語大學成功將眷村和海軍文化融入社會責任實踐計畫中，並在教育與娛樂之間找到了平衡點。透過古風捉影和暈船等遊戲，參與者獲得了眷村文化相關的歷史知識，也發現到眷村和海軍文化的獨特魅力。這樣寓教於樂的活動形式，讓學習變得更加有趣，同時也深化了參與者對於高雄眷村和海軍文化的了解和興趣。</p>

<p>Through this event, Wenzao Ursuline University successfully integrated the culture of military dependents' villages and naval culture into its social responsibility initiative, striking a balance between education and entertainment. Through games like "Military Village History Snap" and "Ship Dizziness," participants gained historical knowledge related to military dependents' villages and discovered the unique charm of these villages and naval culture. This enjoyable and educational format made learning more engaging while deepening participants' understanding and interest in the military dependents' villages and naval culture of Kaohsiung.</p>

<p>文藻外語大學大學社會責任實踐計畫OUR TOWN社區永續跨域共創平台計畫於2024年5月18日舉辦了一場「活動企劃實作課」，此次活動與同校的「SDGs看見需要．千手扶學計畫」共同合作。活動宗旨在帶領雲林偏鄉小學（六合國小、東榮國小及興昌國小）深入了解左營舊城的歷史與文化。為期半天的活動，內容包括文史講座、舊城闖關挑戰以及團隊同樂時間。活動透過多種方式展示鳳山舊城豐富的人文風貌，讓學生們親身體驗左營地區濃厚的歷史氣息。</p>

<p>On May 18, 2024, Wenzao Ursuline University of Languages' University Social Responsibility Practice Program, &ldquo;OUR TOWN Community Sustainable Cross-Domain Collaborative Platform Project&rdquo;, held an activity arranged by its &ldquo;Project Activity Planning Practice Course&rdquo;. This event was in collaboration with another USR program. The primary goal of the activity was to lead elementary school students from rural Yunlin to gain an in-depth understanding of the history and culture of Zuoying Old Town.</p>

<p>The half-day event included a variety of activities such as cultural history lectures, an old town tour guiding, and team fun time. Through these diverse activities, the event showcased the rich cultural heritage of Fongshan Old Town, allowing the students to personally experience the deep historical atmosphere of the Zuoying area.</p>

<p>活動當天，由高雄舊城文化協會的陳振榮經理擔任講師，以清朝官服造型登場，並使用蓮池潭地區的俯瞰圖，生動解說左營地區的信仰融合現象、在地風水傳說、城門與城牆的建立史，以及孔廟、龍虎塔與城邑慈濟宮等特色歷史建築。小學生們在故事講述中吸收知識，並以手寫學習單方式加深印象。聽完講座後，學生們被分為四組，展開實地探索之旅。他們依次走訪四條精心設計的路線&mdash;&mdash;老街線、古厝線、廟宇線和城門線。在大學生關主的帶領下，學生們探訪了包括拱辰門、埤仔頭街遺址、郭家古厝、春秋閣、啟明堂等多個名勝古蹟，實地感受講座中提到的歷史故事與文化風貌。小學生們利用關主提供的手繪地圖，在協力合作下導航到各景點，完成闖關挑戰，增添了活動的趣味性。</p>

<p>On the day of the event, Manager Chen from the Kaohsiung Cultural Association served as the lecturer, appearing in the traditional attire of a Qing Dynasty official. Using an aerial map of the Lotus Pond area, he vividly explained the phenomenon of religious integration in Zuoying, local feng shui legends, the history of the city gates and walls, and notable historical structures such as the Confucius Temple, Dragon and Tiger Pagodas, and Ciji Temple. The elementary school students absorbed this knowledge through storytelling and reinforced their learning by completing handwritten worksheets.</p>

<p>Following the lecture, the students were divided into four groups to embark on an exploratory journey. They navigated four carefully designed routes: the Old Street Route, the Ancient Residences Route, the Temple Route, and the City Gates Route. Led by university student guides, the children visited numerous historical sites, including Gongchen Gate, the remains of Bizaitou Street, the Guo Family Ancient House, Spring and Autumn Pavilion, and Chi Ming Hall. These visits allowed the students to experience firsthand the historical stories and cultural landscapes discussed in the lecture.</p>

<p>Using hand-drawn maps provided by the guides, the elementary school students worked together to navigate to each landmark and complete the challenge, adding an element of fun to the educational experience.</p>

<p>本次活動由活動企劃實作微學分學程的學生進行企劃發想、細節修正以及洽談合作。在盧美妃老師、林一成老師和徐慧韻老師的指導下，學生們完成了實地踏查、分組提案、企劃執行與自我能力檢核。通過OUR TOWN計畫團隊的媒合，與同校USR計畫和舊城文化協會合作，進一步擴大了活動規模。學生們不僅藉由實地導覽認識左營舊城，還提升了外語、新媒體及跨領域合作的能力，並將高雄本土的特色歷史故事廣泛傳播，為促進左營地區的宣傳盡一份心力。</p>

<p>This event was conceptualized, detailed, and coordinated by students enrolled in the Micro-Credit Course on Project Activity Planning Practice. Under the guidance of Professors Lu, Lin, and Xu, the students conducted on-site surveys, proposed group plans, executed the event, and self-assessed their abilities. Through the matchmaking efforts of the OUR TOWN project team, collaboration with the university&rsquo;s USR project and Kaohsiung Cultural Association was established, further expanding the event&rsquo;s scale.</p>

<p>The students not only gained in-depth knowledge of Zuoying Old Town through on-site guided tours but also enhanced their skills in foreign languages, new media, and cross-disciplinary cooperation. By widely disseminating Kaohsiung's unique historical stories, they contributed to the promotion of the Zuoying area, showcasing their dedication to local cultural preservation and advocacy.</p>

<p>OUR TOWN 社區永續跨域共創平台計畫致力推廣左營舊城的美，結合微學分學程與跨域合作，此次活動不但讓更多人認識左營地區，也讓學生們獲得許多實務經驗，在促進社區永續發展的同時，也鏈結地方教育與場域實踐，以達到課程人才培育的目標。</p>

<p>文藻外語大學112學年度大學社會責任實踐計畫─「OUR TOWN 社區永續跨域共創平台計畫」，於2023年12月30日在高雄左營舊城區的泮咖啡籌辦師生成果聯展活動及左營大小事影片競賽頒獎典禮。這次展覽以參與計畫的文藻師生及社群成員的成果作品為主軸，並融入當地合作單位提供的人力與資源，而獲獎學生的作品主題內容以左營舊城在地的景點、美食、建築、文化脈絡為主。當天參與活動的人數達近100人，成功展現莘莘學子如何運用新媒體技術、外語能力，以及實境解謎、桌牌遊戲的遊戲設計理念，將舊城區的獨特魅力成功行銷出去。</p>

<p>Wenzao Ursuline University of Languages' University Social Responsibility Practice Program, "OUR TOWN Community Sustainable Cross-Domain Collaborative Platform Project&rdquo;&nbsp; organized the Team's Results Joint Exhibition and the Zuoying Events Video Competition Awards Ceremony at the Pamma Cof&eacute; in the Zuoying old town, Kaohsiung On December 30, 2023. The exhibition showcased the achievements of Wenzao students and community members involved in the project, integrating resources and manpower provided by local collaborative units. The award-winning students focused on the local attractions, cuisine, architecture, and cultural context of the Zuoying old town. Nearly 100 participants attended the event, highlighting how the students effectively utilized new media technologies, language skills, and game design concepts in reality puzzles and tabletop games. This successful exhibition successfully marketed the unique charm of the old town.</p>

<p>本次成果展共分為六個區域，作品主題扣合在實踐場域左營：《採訪編輯實作課程》&mdash;百文不如一建:慈濟宮建築之美、夢回古厝；《活動企劃實作課程》&mdash;UBIKE騎乘認識左營舊城-美食夕陽遊湖景點、吃出一片舊左營；《新媒體實作課程》&mdash;古厝廟宇奇幻之旅影片；以及陳虹育老師帶領的師生團隊的文史舊城VR體驗，藉由實際踏查和合作單位的課堂指導，不但讓同學們了解左營舊城的在地歷史脈絡、產出一系列的相關作品外，亦促使在地商圈經濟發展。</p>

<p>The exhibition consists of six areas, with the themes of the works centered around the practical field of Zuoying: "Interview and Editing Practical Course" - "Beyond a Hundred Words: The Beauty of Ci Ji Temple's Architecture, Dreaming of Ancient Houses"; "Event Planning Practical Course" - "Exploring Zuoying Old Town by Ubike: Culinary Delights, Sunset Lake Tour, and &ldquo;Eat all the delicious food in old zuoying"; "New Media Practical Course" - a fantastical journey through videos showcasing ancient houses and temples; and a VR experience of the historical and cultural aspects of the old town led by Professor Chen Hongyu and his student team.</p>

<p>OUR TOWN計畫所開設的微學分學程，是由活動企劃實作、採訪編輯實作與新媒體實作三門課程組成，透過聆聽文史學家對左營當地的解說與業界講師講授的新媒體相關專業知識，增加學員對左營的認知。在專業人士的帶領下，學生獨力完成當地特色歷史故事與人文風情的活動宣傳與推廣，例如活動企劃實作的同學設計了地方活化沙盒試驗課程，利用U-bike 環繞蓮池潭附近周邊景點，讓參與民眾更了解左營在地的人文歷史脈絡與景點，而採訪編輯實作的同學則化身為遊戲設計師，結合導覽內容：城邑慈濟宮、菱角寮、廖家古厝與各色門額的歷史與實境解謎遊戲，為參與民眾與實踐場域的關係，帶來新的突破。最後，修習新媒體實作的課程學生，則將文藻校內建築與左營舊城古厝之間做串聯，同時錄製podcast，透過新媒體的剪輯拍攝，為大家彙整重點，解說各景點的故事與軼聞。</p>

<p>The micro-credit program offered by the OUR TOWN project consists of three courses: Event Planning Practical, Interview and Editing Practical, and New Media Practical. Through listening to local historians' explanations of Zuoying and industry experts teaching relevant new media knowledge, participants gain a deeper understanding of Zuoying. Under the guidance of professionals, students independently promote and publicize local historical stories and cultural activities. For example, students in the &ldquo;Event Planning Practical&rdquo;course designed a local activation sandbox experiment, using U-bikes to explore surrounding attractions near Lotus Pond, allowing participants to better understand the local cultural and historical context of Zuoying. Students in the &ldquo;Interview and Editing Practical&rdquo; course transformed into game designers, creating historical and reality puzzle games based on guided tour content, including Ci Ji Temple, Lingjiao Liao,(water chestnut）, Liao's ancient house and various historical door frames, bringing a new breakthrough to the relationship between participants and the practical field.</p>

<p>Finally, students in the &ldquo;New Media Practical&rdquo;course connected the architecture of Wenzao and the ancient houses in Zuoying Old Town. They recorded podcasts and used new media editing and filming techniques to compile key points, explaining the stories and anecdotes of each location.</p>

<p>此外，本計畫成果展也邀請參與《社區故事採訪編輯》社群的學員們，於現場分享實際踏查左營，訪談當地居民的在地故事，也同時邀請計畫合作單位和興茶坊、中外餅鋪等社區夥伴蒞臨現場，帶領參與民眾進行在地文化體驗，其目的為促使更多校外人士認識大學社會責任計畫和高雄左營舊城這片土地。故事編輯社群經由專業講師的指導，引領學員深入社區，採訪當地居民與耆老，挖掘獨屬於左營的老故事，並加入個人寫作風格與技巧，寫出一篇篇極具特色的報導，以學員王詩晴小姐為例，她採訪了郭家古厝的薛大姊，讓眾人對古厝的維護與文化傳承的重要性有進一步的認識；在地商圈行銷社群則與左營商圈店家合作，透過學生與西安麵食館、和興茶莊、中外餅舖的諸位老闆協商，為商家設計獨特的行銷方案，包含菜餚的英、日文翻譯、宣傳影片的英文配音，與商家專訪等等，不只強化學生實務經驗，也為店家增加曝光度。</p>

<p>Additionally, this project's results exhibition also invited participants from the "Community Story Interview Editing" community to share their on-site exploration of Zuoying, conducting interviews with local residents to capture their stories. The event also welcomed representatives from project collaborators, Hexing Tea House and Xingfu Alley to come to the scene., leading participants in experiencing local culture. The aim was to raise awareness of the university's social responsibility project and the land of Zuoying Old Town among more external individuals.</p>

<p>Guided by professional instructors, the community of story editors guided students to delve into the community, interviewing local residents and elders to unearth unique stories exclusive to Zuoying. Adding their personal writing styles and techniques, they produced distinctive reports. For instance, Ms. Wang Shiqing interviewed Ms. Xue, who is from Guo Family Ancient House, deepened everyone's understanding of the importance of preserving and inheriting the culture of ancient houses.The local business district marketing community cooperates with merchants in Zuoying. Through negotiations between students and the owners of Xi'an Noodle Shop, Hexing Tea House, and various pastry shops, unique marketing plans were designed for them . This included translating dishes into English and Japanese, English voiceovers for promotional videos, and exclusive interviews, not only enhancing students' practical experience but also increasing exposure for the merchants.</p>

<p>「OUR TOWN 社區永續跨域共創平台計畫」藉由文藻師生團與高雄當地的文史研究學者、單位合作，一起朝在地共榮的目標前進。期盼藉這次舉辦成果展的力量，使更多文藻學生和校外人士走入左營老城區，期待他們能親身踏查、觀察，在地社區發展的變遷與認識更多地歷史遺址。希冀學生能運用課堂所學，向外推廣左營舊城在地風光，並發現左營獨特的人文魅力。</p>

<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;"OUR TOWN Community Sustainable Cross-Domain Collaborative Platform Project&rdquo; collaborates with Wenzao students, local historians, and research scholars to work towards the goal of local prosperity. With the power of organizing this exhibition, it is hoped that more Wenzao students and external individuals will explore the old town of Zuoying, personally investigate and observe the changes in the local community development, and learn about more historical sites. The aspiration is for students to apply what they have learned in class to promote the local beauty of Zuoying Old Town and discover its unique cultural charm.</p>
